OUR STORY

For many years, a group of African and American professionals have pondered upon the long historic ties between Africa and America and how to leverage the social-economic opportunities they offer. Attention unfortunately have too often focused on obstacles rather than potentials. Today, the potentials and opportunities far outweigh the obstacles.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                        Most African countries are experiencing sustained economic growth, often exceeding 5%. At this rate, the fastest growing economies are projected to be African. To compete successfully, firms must develop appropriate strategies, apply smart systems, expand aggressive marketing, measure accurately, and adjust constantly. The leaders of these organizations must be effective in substance, efficient in style, skilled in business systems and operations.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                All strong economies in the world are connected one way or another to America. From the early 1970’s, Asian economies grew from about 3% of the international market to nearly 23% today, with much of that business connecting with America. The same pre-growth factors are relevant in Africa today. Both ideologically and strategically, business partnership between Africa and America is a winning proposition. African organizations can merge their proven local opportunities with American acumen to grow locally and expand internationally. American businesses can discover in Africa the next economic frontiers.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                      That is why AFRAMI – African American Inter – exists: Consulting SME’s (small to medium size entrepreneurships) both in Africa and America and connecting SME’s between Africa and America.
